  no ribs or sirloin available. slow service. large restaurant but only 4 other groups here. I think the food is cooked off-site and heated up here. asked for med-rare steak but it was more med-well....when steak is your businesz you should know how to heat/cook it.

  This location was terrible. Me, my girlfriend & her 2 youngest kids ate there & I ordered some wrap dish & was told they were out of the ingredients to make the wraps. I then asked for the Doritos nacho salad & was told they were out of the Doritos chips. Choice number 3 was regular nachos with just melted cheese...no meat. It took 15 minutes to melt cheese on chips. When I finally got my nachos almost all the cheese was melted to the dish it was served in...barley any cheese on the chips, the guacamole consisted of a solid chunk of avocado which appeared they just scooped out the inside of the avocado & dropped it in the dish, the jalapenos tasted like they came out of a can & the salsa was extremely watery. I've eaten at a few montanas locations (kelowna, Vancouver, coquitlam) & have had excellent experiences at all of them but I will never eat at the kamloops location again nor will I ever recommend this location. They didnt have anything I ordered & the food they did have was horrible.

  1st time here was not a positive experience, we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated when nearly every table was empty. Every person that ordered was told they were out of some ingredient and had to pick another dish...how does Montana's constantly run out of steak? Finally settled on ribs and my rack was half the size of the others that ordered the same thing. We pointed it out but server didn't care. Today we came back to give this place another chance and am disappointed again. Was greeted at the door by hostess that seemed shocked and confused to see us and asked if we needed anything...why else would we be coming in? Finally seats us, we ordered...ribs and brisket skillet which came within 10 min so obviously microwaved...thats fine. Do not get the brisket skillet, looks like dog food and is an extremly small portion, I counted five tiny pieces of meat (not even a full bite!) for $14.99. I will never come back and now I am off to go get another lunch as I am still hungry. Server was really nice though...must be tough to work here.

  Went on a Sunday night that wasn't very busy. We stood at the front desk for at lease 5 minutes before someone came out of the back to seat us. But none of the tables were ready. So he brushed us off to get a table ready. Finally seated our waitress seemed nice but it took half an hour to order. And they had a long list of things not available. Barely saw any staff out on the floor they were all in the kitchen area. when our food came it was ok but cool like it had been sitting... not a great experience overall. Dont plan to go back anytime soon
